On the 11th of August 1999 at approximately 11:11 there was a
Total Solar Eclipse that was visible in the UK. It was only visible in the far
South West. Unfortunately it was cloudy in most places. But fortunately for me I
decided to stay at home and view the 90 % that I could see in Staffordshire.
Here are the pictures I took with a good old fashioned 35mm SLR Canon EOS (none
of this new fangled digital thing this time).
The images are in time order from left to right, at the bottom
of this page is an animation of them all. There are also a couple of pictures of
clouds at the bottom of the page, these were taken during the 90% period of
eclipse.
