Our local Abbey was opened up for a picnic organised by our local church, this site is not normally opened to the public so it was a great opportunity to visit it. Here are some photogrpahs of the day.

Some pictures from our garden now spring is about to be sprung

The second part of our trip took us to Miami where we went on a sightseeing tour that included a trip around Star Island, then on a short cruise around the Bahamas, stopping off at Nassau and then hired a car to drive around the Everglades.

Below is a video that we took when we were in the states. The first part is of us when we were just outside Times Square for about 8 hours waiting for a ball to drop very slowly. The video was taken with a HD camcorder, but the quality might be slightly reduced due to the internet !
